Molly has steered cleared of the boundaries since you left. She associates with the flags and "just knows..." She has never challenged and I would guess she keeps at a minimum 20 feet or better. I have had the Dogwatch fence system for more than 15 years and it has worked great. We have moved and taken the transmitter with us and installed again. We love our beagle very much, but just could not train the "hound" out of her! She would take off at every opportunity looking for something to track and chase. We hated having to leash her every time we left the house for her own safety. Looking online for a solution I came across dogwatch hidden fence with Shane and Patti. They guaranteed 100% that their under ground wireless fence would work or all your money back. I called them and explained we had a hound, with no hesitation Patti told me, no problem. We were hesitant, but hopeful and told them to go ahead with the project. We fenced in almost 3 acres around our property.
Shane took all the time we needed to show us how to train Lily, we were very concerned about our little girl, as we have a busy road right in front of us and she is stubborn! I bet she did not get "corrected" more than 3 times before she understood where she could and could not go! Now we just open the door and let her go! She has full run of the place, goes out whenever she feels like it, can be out and about with us and not constantly pulling on a leash! It has given her total freedom and she is very happy, as are we. While not the cheap, best money we spent last year. (If you have ever carried a dog off the road, it was cheap) Thinking about new puppy this year, now all we have to do is buy another collar. Strongly recommend to anyone!!

I purchased the DogWatch Hidden Fence System three years ago when my dog was one year old, it was the best investment I ever made. I live on a busy highway and I can let my dog run outdoors without worrying about her running out into the road. What is really great about this system is the battery in the collar is guaranteed to last for two years. Actually, after three years it is the first time I had to change the battery. So it lasted a whole year longer than expected. When I called Shane, my dealer, for a new battery it arrived in the mail the very next day.

Install completed last night at 5pm...both dogs are already off leash and self-correcting (turning) from the boundaries. We have had two Dog Watch fences installed and we have been incredibly happy with both. The first fence at our former property was the replacement after being unable to get service on an existing Invisible Fence brand fence (they had very poor customer service).
I called Shane and he was there quickly, installed a Dog Watch fence and we have been happy owners of two contained dogs ever since. Not only did he come quickly to install the fence, he has also always responded quickly when we have needed him. No matter if it was for something as simple as needing a new collar for our receiver, needing a receiver replaced or had a problem with a broken line. His customer service along with a wonderful product is unmatched. There is no reason that makes sense to go with a different product!

We switched from the Invisible Fence Co. to DogWatch because we had multiple times when we called for service and the fact that we're note on their battery plan seemed to affect how we were treated. They kept threatening that if a non-functioning collar was due to damage sustained from a competitors battery they wouldn't honor the replacement warranties.
Our circuit board has been zapped by lightening a few times and initially they replaced it then the next time they charged us then the next was free again. One of our dogs chewed the collar off our other dog and crushed the collar shock unit with his boxer jaws. They accused us of running over the collar and didn't want to replace it. Every time we call for service we wait to see what excuse they'll give to try and get out of their warranty of hold the batter plan over our heads that they won't take car of us unless we buy their batteries.

We met with you almost 2 years ago to look at invisible fencing for our German Shepherd/Black Lab Mix. My husband was a skeptic and was convinced that the money that was spent for the fencing and the bark collar wouldn't work for "Lucy"...she is stubborn. The fencing was tried first and we had Lucy trained within a week about boundaries. Next, we utilized her bark collar. She would bark and bikers, motorcycles, trucks, and random leaves blowing across the street! The first day, she was trained. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE both the fencing and bark collar.
The best part is that my husband, who was quickly taking back his lack of confidence in the product, was the one who made me initiate contact when we misplaced Lucy's bark collar and were desperate for a new one. He was afraid our neighbors would complain!

We have been having problems with our livestock guardian dogs crossing the boundary fence line with several complaints by neighbors and threats of deer hunters shooting our dogs during hunting season. we were forced to act fast. I scanned the Internet looking for the best solution, as we only have the best for our critters! So, I emailed Shane and by 8am the next morning I had a date for installation the next Saturday. So here it is the Saturday of deer season and I have a completed 10 acre dog fence!! My dogs took very well to the first training session! The levels of correction is all mapped out and easy to follow instructions! No other fence company can offer this much. After shane left from a 6 hour install with many breaks from the bitter cold, casey (my other half) says," it's like he actually loves what he does and takes great pride in having happy customers.
